ABOUT
Cheese etc. is a specialty cheese shop doubling as an intimate bar serving a range of outstanding hyperlocal and other Australian wines, beers and drinks alongside a dine-in menu of platters, deli sandwiches, gourmet toasties, small plates and bar snacks.
I'm a cheesemonger, cheese caterer and occasional cheese judge but more than anything I am a cheese lover. I find it endlessly interesting in its variety of flavours, styles, places of origin and methods of manufacture. I love the rich histories of the cheeses themselves, but also of the incredible people that have made them over the millennia since humans first juggled curds and whey.
In 2014 I decided to go all in to become a full time cheese professional, opening my pop-up shop in North Sydney's Drink Better Wine in 2015. In 2017 I moved with my family to the Southern Highlands, opening at The Mill in Bowral that November. We've now moved to a custom-built, fully licensed space in High Street Bowral where I look forward to continuing to share my favourite cheeses and other goodies with you.
Cheese etc. offers cheese for sale from the shop, eat-in and takeaway dining, as well as services in catering, private events, off-site tastings, workshops and more.
